Please note the following updated information regarding the Chi-Akra Center certification series offerings:
Ms. Wakefield has synergized the knowledge gleaned from her formal and personal studies into an expanded 3-tiered program in Constitutional Facial Renewal™; each level of certification includes two distinct modules, both of which are required to complete the certification requirements. Bodyworkers, estheticians and other non-acupuncturists may also receive certification by completing modules which feature non-needle modalities.
In keeping with her personal belief that the treatment of the face, the "window" into the alchemical cauldron that is the body, provides a point of departure for a process of complete renewal at any age, each subsequent tier of the certification process will seek to engage the practitioner/student (and ultimately, the patient) at a more profound level - somatic, alchemical and vibrational - with the goal of harmonizing, healing and transforming the body/mind/spirit.
Please see the Practitioner Certification page for complete details of the 8 individual certification series courses. Unless otherwise stipulated, Ms. Wakefield is the sole Instructor for Chi-Akra Center seminars.
Please note: unless otherwise specified, all certification series offerings in the Level 1, Somatic, series, i.e., Constitutional Facial Renewal and Advanced Constitutional Facial Acupuncture, consist of 2 training modules, the first of which is Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal, the "basic" acupuncture module. Therefore, all of these certification series offerings are open to acupuncturists and advanced students.
