Certification Training Program
This is a three-part series. The certification process involves
completing all three modules. NCCAOM + CEU's will be given for each segment, but certification requires the completion of all three parts of the series.
A short quiz will be given at the end of each module in order to
fulfill the requirements.
Part I: Acupuncture and Herbal Support

5 Element Hand, Facial and Constitutional analysis |

Facial analysis according to wrinkles, acupuncture points and muscle
functions |

Discernment of a customized treatment involving specific meridians, as
they manifest in the aging process of the patient |

|
Herbal remedies to address constitutional needs of the patient
(although this will be covered in more depth in Part 3) |

Contraindications, prescreening of patients, Intake and Release Forms
for increasing the art of safe and successful treatments |

|
Special Esthetique facial points for specific functions (sagging,
acne, etc.) |

mainly hands-on work and giving treatments.
Part II: Constitutional Facial Acupressure and Massage
|
|
Analyzing facial wrinkles, choosing specific acupressure points based
on muscle function, and applying tonification/sedation techniques
|
|
|
Basics of 5 Element Theory as it pertains to the face (Oriental hand
and facial diagnosis) |

|
Facial Gym: simple meridian stretches for blood and Qi flow from the
vital organs to the face |
|
|
Herbal folk remedies and "skin foods" |
|
|
Tuning fork "tune-up"
|
|
|
Japanese magnets for body support |
Part III: Constitutional Adjunct Therapies

|
The art of aromatherapy (custom blending skills) |
|
|
Flower Essences (spiritual, emotional and subtle energy
support) |

|
Nutritional and dietary recommendations |
|
|
Western and Chinese herbal support |
|
|
Self-care and home treatment program |
[ A written case paper is to be presented and handed in to the
instructor in order to complete the certification process.

Note to prospective participants: for Acupuncturists,
all three parts of the certification process must be completed in order to receive
certification. For Shiatsu and body therapists, parts 2 and 3 are necessary
for completion of the Bodywork requirement. |
